I am in Massachusetts, US, which is zone 6, and like you use mostly native plants. Well done on the colors and bird habitat.

Wow, that's terrible. It seems as if you could get the state to investigate the concrete crushing facility as that must be creating a health issue that needs to be rectified. This is a family homestead and deserves to be preserved. You have beautiful gardens, and I hope yours in the future are as productive.

i'm with you... i tried to grow the medlar tree 3 times... they kept dying! i'm the cobbler whose kids have no shoes, the tailor whose kids have no clothes, or the garden designer whose husband doesn't have a weed free yard.

Did we miss part 1? Was it supposed to be yesterday, but Tuesday was repeated by mistake?

I love lady slippers, and it's good you mentioned they don't like to be moved. Why did we need to see them on Thursday and again on Friday?

why is the garden of the day not always the right one that is emailed to me? today's emailed one was from Friday, instead of about Martha's Vineyard garden. Plus i never received the part 2 of blue flowers. i received a duplicate of another day. i found the right ones online. what's going on?
